The second great moment of intercultural dialogue took place at the beginning of the Italian Renaissance when a young Christian intellectual, Pico della Mirandola, travelled to Padua, where he met a Jewish scholar, Rabbi Elijah Delmedigo, who taught him the Hebrew Bible, the Talmud and Kabbalah in their original languages.
Le deuxième grand moment de dialogue interculturel est intervenu au début de la renaissance italienne lorsqu’un jeune intellectuel chrétien, Pic de la Mirandole, s’est rendu à Padoue où il a rencontré un érudit juif, le rabbin Élie del Medigo, qui lui a enseigné la bible hébraïque, le Talmud et la Cabbale dans leurs langues d’origine.
