– (PT) Mr President, the disaster caused by the Prestige oil tanker took place more than a month ago and we still do not know how long we will continue to see waves of oil slicks, which alone is an indictment of the leaders of Spain and the EU for having adopted such belated and ineffectual measures in an attempt to play down the effects of the real tragedy that has befallen the communities and the sea of Galicia, but which has also spread to the maritime territories to the North and to the South, affecting Portugal and France.
- (PT) Monsieur le Président, cela fait plus d'un mois que le pétrolier Prestige a provoqué cette catastrophe et personne ne sait pendant combien de temps encore déferleront les marées noires, ce qui, en soi, constitue une accusation pour les autorités espagnoles et européennes, en raison du retard et de l'inconsistance des mesures prises en vue d'adoucir les effets de la véritable tragédie qui a touché les communautés et la mer de Galice et qui, entre temps, s'est répandue aux territoires maritimes du Nord et du Sud, atteignant le Portugal et la France.
