7.7. To ensure sound fertiliser management, the capacity of such storage facilities for livestock manure must exceed the storage capacity required for the longest period of the year in which any application of fertiliser to the land is either inappropriate (in accordance with the codes of good agricultural practice established by Member States) or when such application is prohibited, in cases where the production unit is located within a designated nitrate vulnerable zone.
7.7. Afin de garantir la bonne gestion de la fertilisation, la capacité des équipements destinés au stockage des effluents d'élevage doit dépasser la capacité de stockage requise pour la période la plus longue de l'année au cours de laquelle tout épandage de fertilisant ou bien est inapproprié (conformément aux codes des bonnes pratiques agricoles définies par les États membres), ou bien est interdit lorsque l'unité de production est implantée dans une zone désignée sensible aux nitrates.
