IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

Whereas Directive 2010/78/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 November 2010 in respect of the powers of the European Supervisory Authority (European Banking Authority), the European Supervisory Authority (European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority) and the European Supervisory Authority (European Securities and Markets Authority) has identified a first set of such areas, this Directive should identify a further set of areas, in particular for Directives 2002/92/EC, 2003/71/EC and Directive 2009/138/EC, and Regulation 1060/2009. Directive 2003/41/EC, for which the Commission should put forward a proposal for revision before the end of 2012, should not be covered by this Directive.
La directive 2010/78/UE du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 24 novembre 2010 en ce qui concerne les compétences de l’Autorité européenne de surveillance (Autorité bancaire européenne), l’Autorité européenne de surveillance (Autorité européenne des assurances et des pensions professionnelles) a défini une première série de domaines à cet égard, et la présente directive devrait définir une série de domaines supplémentaires, en particulier en ce qui concerne les directives 2002/92/CE, 2003/71/CE et 2009/138/CE et le règlement (CE) n. In order to facilitate the exercise of the tasks referred to in the first subparagraph, the European Supervisory Authority (European Banking Authority -EBA) and the European Supervisory Authority (European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority -EIOPA) shall, taking current supervisory practices into account, issue guidelines addressed to the competent authorities supervising credit institutions and insurance undertakings, in accordance with Article 16 of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council and Article 16 of Regulation (EU) No 1094/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council , respectively.

In addition to the European Supervisory Authority (European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority) (hereinafter the Authority’), a European Supervisory Authority (European Banking Authority) and a European Supervisory Authority (European Securities and Markets Authority) as well as a Joint Committee of the European Supervisory Authorities (hereinafter the Joint Committee’) should be established.
