From this point of view, Madam President, I think that, and the European Council also gave this message, in other words, that we request Ariel Sharon’s government to respect international law and withdraw his tanks and troops as a matter of urgency from the autonomous Palestinian territories, I think that it would certainly be in the spirit of the Sakharov Prize for you, Madam President, if you agree, to give this message to the Israeli government on our behalf.
