In particular, we note that Jeff Vogt, legal adviser to the Department of Human and Trade Union Rights at the International Trade Union Confederation recently made the case to the committee that Jordan is not in compliance with the requirements of article 1 of the agreement, given its ongoing violations of core ILO conventions.
J'ajouterais simplement que nous partageons les inquiétudes soulevées sur le sujet par bon nombre de témoins, notamment Jeff Vogt, conseiller juridique au Département des droits humains et syndicaux de la Confédération syndicale internationale. Selon lui, la Jordanie ne respecte pas les exigences de l'article 1 de l'accord, puisqu'elle continue de contrevenir aux principales conventions de l'OIT.

Complaint The complaint was jointly lodged by the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) and the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions (ICFTU), pursuant to Articles 9 and 10 of Council Regulation (EC) 3281/94 of 19 December 1994, which provides for the possible temporary withdrawal of tariff preferences for certain industrial products originating in developing countries which, inter alia, practise any form of forced labour as defined in the Geneva Conventions of 25 September 1926 and 7 September 1956 and International Labour Conventions Nos 29 and 105.
Plainte La plainte a été déposée conjointement par la confédération européenne des syndicats (CES) et la confédération internationale des syndicats libres (CISL), conformément aux articles 9 et 10 du règlement (CE) no 3281/94 du Conseil du 19 décembre 1994, qui autorisent un retrait temporaire des préférences tarifaires pour certains produits industriels originaires de pays en développement qui pratiquent une forme quelconque d'esclavage, tel que défini dans les conventions de Genève des 25 septembre 1926 et 7 septembre 1956 et les conventions de l'Organisation internationale du travail no 29 et no 105.
