We do not need to go back to the past like the Reform Party that would have us privatize a lot of our social programs, have us set up two tier medical care in this country where we would have one system for the rich and one for the poor, where we only have tax breaks for the wealthy, where we get rid of the public pension plans like the Canada pension plan and turn everything into private pensions or RRSPs that favour wealthy people because they believe they can look after their own future better than anybody else. That is back to the past, the Archie Bunkers of Canada.
Inutile de retourner en arrière comme le propose le Parti réformiste, qui souhaiterait privatiser bon nombre de nos programmes sociaux, adopter un système de soins de santé à deux vitesses, une pour les pauvres et une pour les riches, accorder des allégements fiscaux uniquement aux riches et abolir les régimes de pension publics, comme le Régime de pensions du Canada, pour tout transformer en régimes privés ou en REER, plus profitables pour les gens riches, parce que les membres de ce parti croient pouvoir préparer leur avenir mieux que quiconque.
