I am just sitting through another process where, once again, there is a massive restructuring of our B.C. fisheries; a massive reallocation from one sector to another; incredible instability; and no discussion of either the type of science that is being used or the way the science is being applied; the effects of these decisions; or a range of options as to how we address these kinds of situations.
Je suis justement en train de vivre un autre processus où, une fois de plus, on opère une restructuration en profondeur de nos pêches en Colombie-Britannique. On opère une réaffectation massive d'un secteur à un autre; l'instabilité est à son comble; et il n'est nullement question des aspects scientifiques ou de l'application des données scientifiques; de l'effet des décisions prises, ou d'un éventail d'options quant à la façon de s'y prendre pour s'en sortir.
