The European Union wishes to state that it is gravely disappointed by the decision of the Supreme Court of Chile, applying the Amnesty Law of 1978, to grant impunity to the perpetrators of the murder in 1976 of Carmelo Soria, a Spanish official of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean.
L'Union européenne tient à déclarer qu'elle est extrêmement déçue par la décision de la Cour suprême du Chili, prise en application de la loi d'amnistie de 1978, d'accorder l'impunité aux auteurs de l'assassinat, en 1976, de M. Carmelo Soria, fonctionnaire espagnol de la Commission économique des Nations Unies pour l'Amérique latine et les Caraïbes.
