That is why we reject any provision which might call the quality of product assessment into question or detract from the system by encouraging the substitution of the most worrying substances, and why a series of amendments just tabled is completely unbalanced and cannot be supported.
Pour cette raison, nous rejetons toute disposition qui pourrait conduire à remettre en cause la qualité de l’évaluation des produits ou à amoindrir le système incitant à la substitution des substances les plus préoccupantes.

Logically, therefore, it seems to me that the amendment to the amendment by the member for Berthier-Montcalm is also allowable, since we said that, if one were not, the other would be. Since an amendment to an amendment was tabled, it seems to me that it-the one taken under advisement-is the logical conclusion of the amendment tabled, in the logic of the ruling we have just been given.
Donc, en toute logique, il me semble que le sous-amendement apporté à l'amendement du député de Berthier-Montcalm est également recevable, puisque l'on se disait que si l'un ne l'est pas, l'autre le sera, dans la mesure où l'un ou l'autre, il y a eu un sous-amendement de déposé, il me semble que ce sous-amendement qui a été pris en délibéré est la suite logique de l'amendement qui a été déposé, cela dans la logique même du jugement qui vient d'être rendu.
