6. By 6 May 2019, the Commission shall review other legal acts adopted by the Union which regulate processing by the competent authorities for the purposes set out in Article 1(1) including those referred to in Article 60, in order to assess the need to align them with this Directive and to make, where appropriate, the necessary proposals to amend those acts to ensure a consistent approach to the protection of personal data within the scope of this Directive.

3. In addition to the cases referred to in paragraph 2, the Commission may, by means of implementing acts, amend the implementing act referred to in paragraph 1, in accordance with the principles set out in Section 2 of Annex II, where there is a risk that a plant, plant product or other object not listed in that act hosts a Union quarantine pest or pest subject to measures adopted pursuant to Article 30(1), or where, for a plant, plant product or other object listed in that act, that risk no longer exists.
3. In addition to the cases referred to in paragraph 2, the Commission may, by means of implementing acts, amend the implementing act referred to in paragraph 1, in accordance with the principles set out in Section 2 of Annex II, where there is a risk that a plant, plant product or other object not listed in that act hosts the respective protected zone quarantine pest, or where, for a plant, plant product or other object listed in that act, that risk no longer exists.

2. The Commission shall review within three years after the entry into force of this Directive other acts adopted by the European Union which regulate the processing of personal data by competent authorities for the purposes of prevention, investigation, detection or prosecution of criminal offences or the execution of criminal penalties, in particular those acts adopted by the Union referred to in Article 59, in order to assess the need to align them with this Directive and make, where appropriate, the necessary proposals to amend these acts to ensure a consistent approach on the protection of personal data within the scope of this Directive.
2. Dans un délai de trois ans à compter de l'entrée en vigueur de la présente directive, la Commission réexamine d'autres actes adoptés par l'Union européenne qui régissent le traitement des données à caractère personnel par les autorités compétentes à des fins de prévention et de détection des infractions pénales, d'enquêtes et de poursuites en la matière, ou d'exécution de sanctions pénales, notamment les actes adoptés par l'Union qui sont mentionnés à l'article 59, afin d'apprécier la nécessité de les mettre en conformité avec la présente directive et de formuler, le cas échéant, les propositions nécessaires en vue de modifier ces actes pour assurer une approche cohérente de la protection des données à caractère personnel dans le cadre de la présente directive.

(13) The power to adopt acts in accordance with Article 290 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union should be delegated to the Commission to update the definitions laid down in this Decision in the light of changes to definitions adopted by the bodies of the UNFCCC or the Kyoto Protocol or other multilateral agreements relevant to climate change concluded by the Union, to amend Annex I to add accounting periods and ensure consistency between those accounting periods and the relevant periods adopted by the bodies of the UNFCCC, or other multilateral agreement relevant to climate change concluded by the Union, to amend Annex II with updated reference levels in accordance with the proposed reference levels submitted by Member States subject to corrections made in accordance with this Decision and in the light of changes to reference levels approved by the bodies of the UNFCCC or the Kyoto Protocol, to revise the information specified in Annex III in accordance with scientific progress and in the light of changes adopted by the bodies of the UNFCCC or the Kyoto Protocol or other successor frameworks and to revise the conditions relating to the accounting rules for natural disturbances laid down in this Decision in the light of scientific progress or to reflect revisions to acts adopted by the UNFCCC or Kyoto Protocol bodies.
