Definition: This block contains a wide variety of disorders that differ in severity and clinical form but that are all attributable to the use of one or more psychoactive substances, which may or may not have been medically prescribed. The third character of the code identifies the substance involved, and the fourth character specifies the clinical state. The codes should be used, as required, for each substance specified, but it should be noted that not all fourth character codes are applicable to all substances. Identification of the psychoactive substance should be based on as many sources of information as possible. These include self-report data, analysis of blood and other body fluids, characteristic physical and psychological symptoms, clinical signs and behaviour, and other evidence such as a drug being in the patient's possession or reports from informed third parties. Many drug users take more than one type of psychoactive substance. The main diagnosis should be classified, whenever possible, according to the substance or class of substances that has caused or contributed most to the presenting clinical syndrome. Other diagnoses should be coded when other psychoactive substances have been taken in intoxicating amounts (common fourth character .0) or to the extent of causing harm (common fourth character .1), dependence (common fourth character .2) or other disorders (common fourth character .3-.9). Definition: This category differs from others in that it includes disorders identifiable on the basis of not only symptoms and course but also the existence of one or other of two causative influences: an exceptionally stressful life event producing an acute stress reaction, or a significant life change leading to continued unpleasant circumstances that result in an adjustment disorder. Although less severe psychosocial stress ( life events ) may precipitate the onset or contribute to the presentation of a very wide range of disorders classified elsewhere in this chapter, its etiological importance is not always clear and in each case will be found to depend on individual, often idiosyncratic, vulnerability, i.e. the life events are neither necessary nor sufficient to explain the occurrence and form of the disorder. In contrast, the disorders brought together here are thought to arise always as a direct consequence of acute severe stress or continued trauma. The stressful events or the continuing unpleasant circumstances are the primary and overriding causal factor and the disorder would not have occurred without their impact. The disorders in this section can thus be regarded as maladaptive responses to severe or continued stress, in that they interfere with successful coping mechanisms and therefore lead to problems of social functioning.

Definition: A disorder in which the child, having previously made normal progress in language development, loses both receptive and expressive language skills but retains general intelligence; the onset of the disorder is accompanied by paroxysmal abnormalities on the EEG, and in the majority of cases also by epileptic seizures. Usually the onset is between the ages of three and seven years, with skills being lost over days or weeks. The temporal association between the onset of seizures and loss of language is variable, with one preceding the other (either way round) by a few months to two years. An inflammatory encephalitic process has been suggested as a possible cause of this disorder. About two-thirds of patients are left with a more or less severe receptive language deficit.

The main achievement of the study was the successful completion of combining trade and transport data from various sources for the Alpine pilot exercise, going through the following steps: a) Regionalisation (NUTS2 level) of the trade flows between countries per transport mode and commodity group; b) Implementation of the main transport chain organisation structures in trade flows; c) Implementation of the specific Alpine transport chain organisation in trade flows over the Alps; d) Distribution of trade flows along Alpine crossings over all transport chain organisation structures; e) Assessing impacts related to Alpine Transport Policy issues (e.g. pricing, combined transport).
L'étude a eu pour résultat principal de permettre la combinaison, pour l'exercice pilote au niveau de la région alpine, de données sur les échanges et les transports émanant de sources diverses. Content of the national legislation: The provisions of 4.1 and 6.2 do not apply to cylinders and pressure drums of gases of Class 2, provided (i) these cylinders and pressure drums are constructed and tested in accordance with the IMDG Code; (ii) these cylinders and pressure drums are used in accordance with the IMDG Code; (iii) these cylinders and pressure drums were transported to the consignor by means of multimodal transport, including maritime carriage; (iv) the transport of these cylinders and pressure drums to the final user consists only of a single transport journey, completed within the same day, from the consignee of the multimodal transport operation (referred to in (iii)); (v) these cylinders and pressure drums are not refilled within the State and are returned nominally empty to the country of origin of the multimodal transport operation (referred to in (iii)); and (vi) these cylinders and pressure drums are distributed locally within the State in small quantities.
