In the event of a breach of the rules set out in paragraghs 1 to 3, the responsible official of the secretariat of the parliamentary body/office-holder or of the CIU, as the case may be, shall inform the Secretary-General, who shall refer the matter to the President if a Member of the European Parliament is concerned.
