I remember a time when the Reform Party and the Canadian Alliance guys brought a Mexican mariachi band and a bunch of straw hats in front of the Senate and were doing a Mexican hat dance to protest the behaviour of one senator who had established himself on a beach in Mexico and was pulling down a Senate salary.
Je me rappelle une époque où des gars du Parti réformiste et de l'Alliance canadienne avaient fait venir un orchestre mariachi mexicain et une pile de chapeaux de paille et avaient organisé une danse traditionnelle mexicaine devant le Sénat pour protester contre le comportement d'un sénateur qui s'était établi sur une plage au Mexique et touchait son salaire de sénateur.
