With both chambers in operation, the students had the opportunity to discover how a complete parliament works. There was an official opening, a speech from the throne by Laurentian University Chancellor Aline Chrétien, who served as " virtual Governor General" , tabling of a budget, introduction of six bills and finally, Royal Assent.
Avec les deux Chambres actives, les étudiants ont eu l'occasion de découvrir le fonctionnement d'un parlement complet avec une ouverture officielle, un discours du Trône, prononcé par la chancelière de l'Université Laurentienne, Mme Aline Chrétien, en tant que gouverneure générale virtuelle, le dépôt d'un budget, le dépôt de six projets de loi et, enfin, une sanction royale.
