The Conference agrees that measures to be adopted by the Council, which will have the effect of replacing provisions on the abolition of checks at common borders contained in the 1990 Schengen Convention, should provide at least the same level of protection and security as under the aforementioned provisions of the Schengen Convention.
La Conférence estime que les mesures adoptées par le Conseil qui auront pour effet de remplacer les dispositions relatives à l'abolition des contrôles aux frontières communes contenues dans la Convention de Schengen de 1990 devraient assurer au moins le même niveau de protection et de sécurité que lesdites dispositions de la Convention de Schengen.
