In addition, other criteria are indicated to allow the inclusion of areas affected by specific problems, such as: - urban communities, with an unemployment rate at least 50% above the Community average which have recorded a substantial fall in industrial employment; - areas hit (or threatened) by substantial job losses in industrial sectors of decisive importance for their economic development; - areas suffering from the impact of restructuring in the fisheries sector; - adjacent areas to those meeting the basic criteria, especially if adjacent to an Objective 1 region; - areas (especially urban areas) with severe problems linked to the regeneration of derelict industrial sites.
