As the object of such country strategy papers is the promotion of peace, democracy and human rights, the recent arrest of the human rights activist Dr Mudawi is more than disturbing, and gives cause to question the willingness of the Sudanese Government to pursue these goals.
L’objectif de ce genre de documents de stratégie nationale étant la promotion de la paix, de la démocratie et des droits de l’homme, la récente arrestation du défenseur des droits de l’homme, le Dr Mudawi, est plus que troublante, et conduit à mettre en doute la volonté du gouvernement soudanais de poursuivre ces objectifs.
