In the event that that legislative act is not applicable on 15 June 2017, point 5 of Article 7 of this Regulation, as regards Article 6f of Regulation (EU) No 531/2012, shall continue to apply until that legislative act becomes applicable.

17.1 (1) Where an applicant or a recipient is dissatisfied with an adjudication affecting them that is made by the Minister under the Act, other than an adjudication under subsection 18(2) of the Act, the applicant or recipient, or a person acting on their behalf, may apply for a review of the adjudication by forwarding, within 60 days after the date the applicant or recipient was informed of the adjudication, a request for review to an officer or employee of the Department designated by the Minister under subsection 32(1) of the Act.

(4) If before July 1, 2010, when an approval of the Minister for the application of section 178.4 of the Act to a distributor of a direct seller is in effect, the distributor has made a taxable supply by way of sale (other than a zero-rated supply) of an exclusive product of the direct seller to an independent sales contractor of the direct seller that is not a distributor in respect of which an approval granted under subsection 178.2(4) of the Act on application made jointly with the direct seller is in effect and the independent sales contractor holds, at the beginning of that day, the exclusive product for sale in a specified province, for the purpose of applying subsection 165(2) or 220.05(1) of the Act, the distributor is deemed to have made, and the independent sales contractor is deemed to have received, on July 1, 2010 a supply by way of sale of the exclusive product in accordance with the rules provided in subsection 178.4(1) of the Act.

The Committee accordingly believes that the assistance of a special advocate is necessary in at least five contexts: judicial review of a decision to list a terrorist entity under the Criminal Code; [19] judicial consideration of a certificate having the effect of denying or revoking charitable status under the Charities Registration (Security Information) Act (CRSIA); applications under the Canada Evidence Act (CEA) with respect to the disclosure of information; applications under the CEA to vary or cancel a certificate issued by the Attorney General of Canada prohibiting the disclosure of information; and judicial consideration of a security certificate under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA).
