The minister said that he accepted the recommendations and they would be acted on very quickly, and the recommendations were to improve the monitoring, but also because of the obvious lack of trust in these industry- and government-run programs, they recommended that an independent panel of stakeholders and scientists be appointed to run it to make sure that the true results were getting out to the public and that the science that was done was peer-reviewed, which, outside of our papers, almost none has been for this huge operation, which I find incredible.
