I could not leave here today without mentioning a few words on market access, the issue that has recently become the real political hot potato. The Doha round is about development, and it is, amongst other things, about giving the developing countries a better deal. We have long advocated special and differential treatment to account for the vast diversity in a group that falls under this broad heading, and we remain the largest importer of agricultural goods from them by far, but it is high time that we were challenged on this account, one of the reasons why we are encouraging all other developed countries to allow at least 50% of developing country exports to enter their market duty free.
