Application of transposal measures Complaints relating to individual cases of incorrect application of national implementing measures are a valuable source of information for the Commission, especially when they reveal that the measure was not in conformity with the directive or they bring to light repeated infringements or horizontal problems, such as administrative practices that are incompatible with the directive.
