Axis 1 : Measures for the adaptation of the Community fleet such as aid for the owners of fishing vessels who temporarily cease their fishing activities in the framework of recovery plans; investment on board fishing vessels, small-scale coastal fishing; Axis 2 : Aquaculture, inland fishing processing and marketing : measures for productive investments in aquaculture, aqua-environmental measures, compensation to mollusc farmers for the temporary suspension of farmed mollusc harvesting when linked to public health issues, support for investment in inland fishing facilities; Axis 3 : Measures of common interest: support for collective actions; Axis 4 : Sustainable development of fisheries areas, targeting areas with low population density, fishing in decline or small fisheries communities; Axis 5 : Technical assistance (evaluations, expert reports, studies, etc).

The new generation of rural development strategies and programmes will be built around four axes, namely: axis 1, on improving the competitiveness of the agricultural and forestry sector; axis 2, on improving the environment and the countryside; axis 3, on the quality of life in rural areas and diversification of the rural economy; and axis 4, on Leader.

1. The Community financial contribution to each of the three objectives referred to in Article 4 shall cover at least 10 % of the EAFRD total contribution to the programme for axis 1 and 3 referred to in Sections 1 and 3 respectively of Chapter I of Title IV and at least 25 % of the EAFRD total contribution to the programme for axis 2 referred to in Section 2 of Chapter I of Title IV. For the programmes of the French overseas departments, the minimum Community financial contribution for axis 2 shall be 10 %.

La participation financière communautaire au titre de chacun des trois objectifs visés à l'article 4 couvre au moins 10 % du total de la contribution du Feader au programme pour les axes 1 et 3 visés respectivement aux sections 1 et 3 du titre IV, chapitre I, et au moins 25 % du total de la contribution du Feader au programme pour l'axe 2 visé à la section 2 du même chapitre.
