Member States shall take the appropriate administrative or penal measures to penalize any infringement of this Directive, in particular where it is found that the certificates or documents drawn up do not correspond to the actual state of the products referred to in Annexes I and II, or that the products in question do not satisfy the requirements of this Directive or have not undergone the checks provided for therein.

6. Member States shall take the appropriate administrative or penal measures to penalize any infringement of this Directive, in particular where it is found that the certificates or documents drawn up do not correspond to the actual state of the animals referred to in Article 1, that the identification of the animals or the marking of the semen, ova and embryos in question does not comply with this Directive or that the animals or products in question have not undergone the checks provided for in this Directive.

Les États membres prennent les mesures administratives ou pénales appropriées pour sanctionner toute infraction à la présente directive, en particulier lorsqu'il est constaté que les certificats ou documents établis ne correspondent pas à l'état réel des animaux visés à l'article 1er, que l'identification des animaux ou le marquage des spermes, ovules et embryons en question n'est pas conforme à la présente directive, ou que les animaux ou produits en question n'ont pas été soumis aux contrôles prévus par celle-ci.

2. Member States of dispatch shall take the appropriate administrative, legal or penal measures to penalize any infringement of veterinary legislation by natural or legal persons where it is found that Community rules have been infringed, in particular where it is found that the certificates or documents drawn up do not correspond to the actual state of the products or that public health stamps have been affixed to products which do not comply with those rules.
