Мikolášik d’avoir intégré dans son rapport les principales conclusions et suggestions formulées par ladite commission.

The draftsman considers that such extraordinary measures should also lead to greater innovation in the sector and enable fisherman to adapt to the re-structuring of the sector and are absolutely essential in an exceptional time as the current one.
Cet ensemble de mesures permettrait de réduire l'impact du secteur de la pêche sur l'environnement ainsi que sa dépendance à l'égard du carburant et de garantir aux pêcheurs des prix équitables pour leurs captures. Le rapporteur pour avis estime que de telles mesures extraordinaires devraient favoriser les innovations dans le secteur de la pêche et permettre aux pêcheurs de s'adapter à sa restructuration, et qu'elles sont absolument indispensables dans le contexte exceptionnel actuel.

Your draftsman definitely approves the twin-track approach on which the Commission has based the formulation of its reform proposals: on the one hand, mainstreaming, or the horizontal application of the objective of equality in the operation of all the Structural Funds, and, on the other, the incorporation of specific measures to improve equality of opportunity for women.
Votre rapporteur souscrit délibérément aux deux pistes à partir desquelles la Commission a formulé ses propositions de réforme, à savoir, d'une part, le mainstreaming c'est-à-dire l'application transversale de l'objectif d'égalité dans le fonctionnement de tous les Fonds structurels et, d'autre part, l'inclusion d'actions spécifiques visant à améliorer l'égalité des chances pour les femmes.

Your draftsman welcomes the submission of the new regulations for the Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund, and believes that this move should receive all possible political support. Taken as a whole in the light of the principles set out in Agenda 2000, these documents are in line with the sound principles of concentration, simplification, and clarification of responsibilities. A major opportunity is thus created for projects in the research and energy fields, conceived as means of achieving the objective of cohesion.
Votre rapporteur se félicite de la présentation des nouveaux règlements sur les Fonds structurels et sur le Fonds de cohésion et espère qu'ils recevront un appui politique sans réserve, d'autant que, dans l'ensemble et conformément aux principes énoncés dans l'Agenda 2000, ils traduisent un effort accru de concentration, de simplification et de clarification des responsabilités; on notera qu'ils offrent l'occasion d'imprimer un élan à des projets dans les domaines de la recherche et de l'énergie, si utiles pour parvenir à la cohésion souhaitée.
