considers that the creation of a single European legal status allowing European political parties or European political foundations to register as such and obtain a legal status based on EU law, thus freeing them from the diversity of national legal forms on which they have hitherto relied for their existence, would be an important step towards the political unification of Europe; notes, however, that the ability of the present draft to fulfil this function depends on the appropriate implementation by the Member States;
considère comme un pas important vers une unification politique de l'Europe la création d'un statut juridique unique européen, qui donne aux partis politiques européens ou aux fondations politiques européennes la possibilité de s’enregistrer en tant que tels et donc d'obtenir un statut juridique fondé sur le droit de l'UE et, dès lors, les libère de la diversité des formes juridiques nationales sur lesquelles leur existence a jusqu’ici reposé; note, toutefois, que la capacité du projet à l'examen à remplir cette fonction dépend d'une application appropriée par les États membres;
