A ‘room’ is defined as a space in a housing unit enclosed by walls reaching from the floor to the ceiling or roof, of a size large enough to hold a bed for an adult (4 square metres at least) and at least 2 metres high over the major area of the ceiling.
On entend par «pièce», un espace délimité, dans une unité d’habitation, par des cloisons allant du plancher au plafond ou à la toiture, assez grand pour contenir un lit d’adulte (4 m2 au moins) et ayant au moins deux mètres de haut sous plafond sur la plus grande partie de sa superficie.
