The ECS consists of two sub-schemes, the Pre-Shipment Export Credit Scheme (packing credit), which covers credits provided to an exporter for financing the purchase, processing, manufacturing, packing and/or shipping of goods prior to export, and the Post-Shipment Export Credit Scheme, which provides for working capital loans with the purpose of financing export receivables.
Ce régime comporte deux volets, à savoir les crédits à l’exportation avant expédition («packing credit»), c’est-à-dire, d’une part, les crédits accordés à un exportateur pour financer l’achat, la transformation, la fabrication, le conditionnement et/ou l’expédition des marchandises avant l’exportation, et les crédits à l’exportation après expédition, c’est-à-dire les crédits-fonds de roulement accordés pour financer les créances à l’exportation.
