In such cases, transfers of personal data to those countries should be able to take place without the need to obtain any specific authorisation, except where another Member State from which the data were obtained has to give its authorisation to the transfer.

If that Member State does not give its authorisation and where there are reasonable grounds to suspect that the vessel is carrying persons intending to reach the border of a Member State, Article 7(14) shall apply.

Action n° 6: To promote, in a staged approach, unprecedented collaborative research and development efforts to bring new antibiotics to patients by: Launching rapidly with EFPIA[12], within the IMI-Joint Undertaking, a programme for research on new antibiotics aimed at improving the efficiency of research and development of new antibiotics through unprecedented open sharing of knowledge. Establishing an overarching framework agreement with the industry, defining objectives, commitments, priorities, principles and modes of action for public-private collaboration in a longer term perspective. Mobilising adequate resources, within IMI in particular (and its possible successor), FP7 and in the longer term the forthcoming research and innovation programme 2014-2020 (Horizon 2020), in order to support research and development work, based on criteria and modalities adapted to the specific needs and challenges of antibiotic development. Use the flexibility in the current pharmaceutical legislation to give rapid authorisation to new antibiotics and work with stakeholders and the Member States' authorities towards the establishment of adequate market and pricing conditions for new antibiotics. Ensure conditions for and implement fast track procedures for the marketing authorisation of new antimicrobials.
Action n° 6: favoriser, dans le cadre d’une démarche par étapes, des travaux de recherche-développement conjoints inédits pour mettre à la disposition des patients de nouveaux antibiotiques par les moyens suivants:en collaboration avec la Fédération européenne des associations de l’industrie pharmaceutique [12], lancer à brève échéance, dans le cadre de l’entreprise commune pour l’initiative en matière de médicaments innovants, un programme de recherches sur de nouveaux antibiotiques visant à améliorer l’efficacité de la recherche et du développement de nouveaux antibiotiques grâce à un partage de connaissances transparent et inédit; établir un accord-cadre global avec l’industrie, définir des objectifs, des engagements, des priorités, des principes et des modes d’action pour une collaboration à plus long terme entre les secteurs public et privé; mobiliser les ressources adéquates, en particulier au titre de l’entreprise commune pour l’initiative en matière de médicaments innovants (et son successeur éventuel), du septième programme-cadre et, à plus long terme, du prochain programme de recherche et d’innovation pour la période 2014-2010 (Horizon 2020), afin de soutenir les travaux de recherche et de développement, en fonction des critères et des modalités adaptées aux besoins spécifiques et aux enjeux que constitue la mise au point d’antibiotiques; tirer parti de la souplesse de la législation pharmaceutique actuelle afin d’autoriser rapidement de nouveaux antibiotiques et de travailler en collaboration avec les parties prenantes et les autorités des États membres pour l’instauration de conditions de marché et de fixation des prix appropriées pour les nouveaux antibiotiques; garantir et respecter des procédures accélérées d’autorisation de mise sur le marché de nouveaux antimicrobiens.

The competent institution of a Member State whose legislation provides for meeting the costs of transporting a person who has sustained an accident at work or is suffering from an occupational disease, either to his place of residence or to a hospital, shall meet such costs to the corresponding place in another Member State where the person resides, provided that that institution gives prior authorisation for such transport, duly taking into account the reasons justifying it.
