As part of this program, two major projects were also funded, including the North East Centre of Community Society in Calgary, and this project will be a 225,000-square-foot complex designed to meet the sport, health, educational and cultural needs of all individuals in Calgary's growing northeast communities, including those with disabilities.

For those of you who do not know, the Canadian Association for Community Living was founded in 1958 as a family-based association assisting individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families to take a lead role in advancing inclusion in their own lives and in their communities.

In view of the results achieved, and of the continued proliferation of ballistic missiles capable of delivering WMD which constitute a cause of growing concern for the international community, in particular ongoing missile programmes in the Middle-East, North-East Asia and South-East Asia, including Iran and the DPRK, the following actions will be carried out:

In the Paris Convention for the protection of the marine environment of the north-east Atlantic (September 1992), the precautionary principle is defined as the principle "by virtue of which preventive measures are to be taken when there are reasonable grounds for concern that substances or energy introduced, directly or indirectly, into the marine environment may bring about hazards to human health, harm living resources and marine ecosystems, damage amenities or interfere with other legitimate uses of the sea, even when there is no conclusive evidence of a causal relationship between the inputs and the effects".
Dans la convention de Paris pour la protection du milieu marin pour l'Atlantique du nord-est (septembre 1992) le principe de précaution est ainsi qualifié : « principe selon lequel les mesures de prévention doivent être prises lorsqu'il y a des motifs raisonnables de s'inquiéter du fait des substances ou de l'énergie introduites directement ou indirectement dans le milieu, qu'elles puissent entraîner des risques pour la santé de l'homme, nuire aux ressources biologiques ou aux écosystèmes, porter atteinte aux valeurs d'agrément ou entraver d'autres utilisations du milieu, même s'il n'y a pas de preuves concluantes d'un rapport de causalité entre les apports et les effets ».
