Les autorités françaises ont rappelé qu'elles transmettent annuellement à l'Office statistique des Communautés européennes, conformément à l'article 9 du règlement (CEE) no 822/87 du Conseil du 16 mars 1987 portant organisation commune du marché vitivinicole (4), le relevé des superficies plantées en vignes, classées par département et par type de raisins produits (raisins de cuve dont vins de qualité produits dans des régions déterminées (v.q.p.r.d.), vignes à raisins de table) ainsi que le relevé des arrachages et plantations de vignes présenté selon le même mode de classement par département et par type de raisins produits.
