(2) Notwithstanding the Judges Act, the Chief Judge of
the County Court of Nova Scotia shall, on the coming into force of this subsection, be dee
med to have made an election in accordance with section 32 of that Act for the purposes of subsection 43(2) of that Act, and if, at the time of resignation, removal or attaining the age of retirement, is holding office as a puisne judge of the Supreme Court of Nova
