The computer shall offer a power management function, or a similar function which, when the computer is not providing the main function or when other energy-using products are not dependent on its functions, automatically switches the computer into a power mode that has a lower power demand than the applicable power demand requirement for sleep mode.
L’ordinateur doit offrir une fonction de gestion de la consommation d’électricité ou une fonction analogue qui bascule automatiquement l’ordinateur, lorsque celui-ci n’est pas activé dans sa fonction principale ou lorsque d’autres produits consommateurs d’énergie ne dépendent pas de son activation, dans un mode de consommation où la puissance appelée est plus faible que celle correspondant à un mode de veille.
