At the time of such visits, the notified body may, where necessary, carry out tests or have them carried out in order to check the proper functioning of the quality system and of the lift.

‘Dynamic test’ means the test during which lifting machinery is operated in all its possible configurations at the maximum working load multiplied by the appropriate dynamic test coefficient with account being taken of the dynamic behaviour of the lifting machinery in order to check that it functions properly.
«Épreuve dynamique»: essai qui consiste à faire fonctionner la machine de levage dans toutes ses configurations possibles, à la charge maximale d'utilisation multipliée par le coefficient d'épreuve dynamique approprié, en tenant compte du comportement dynamique de la machine, en vue de vérifier le bon fonctionnement de celle-ci.
