B. whereas the Commission is aiming, through a draft implementing decision on the identification of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP), benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP) and diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP) as substances of very high concern according to Article 57(f) of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council, to identify DEHP as a substance of very high concern;
B. considérant que la Commission vise, au moyen d'un projet de décision d'exécution sur le recensement du bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), du dibutyl phthalate (DBP), du benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP) et du diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP) en tant que substances extrêmement préoccupantes, conformément à l'article 57, point f), du règlement (CE) n° 1907/2006 du Parlement européen et du Conseil, à recenser le DEHP en tant que substance extrêmement préoccupante;

The Commission has completed its re-evaluation of the measures of entry 51 of Annex XVII to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 regarding the substances bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP), in accordance with paragraph 3 of that entry.
La Commission a terminé la réévaluation des mesures liées à l'annexe XVII, entrée 51, du règlement (CE) no 1907/2006 concernant les substances di(2-éthylhexyl) phtalate (DEHP), dibutyl phtalate (DBP) et butyl benzyl phtalate (BBP), conformément au point 3 de ladite entrée.

Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP) meets the criteria for classification as toxic for reproduction (category 1B) in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and therefore meets the criteria for inclusion in Annex XIV to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 pursuant to Article 57(c) of that Regulation.
