Deze gels worden ‘electroblotted’ op een nitrocellulosemembraan, geïncubeerd met een monoclonaal antistof tegen PrP (3F4), gewassen, geïncubeerd met een tweede geiten-antistof tegen muis-IgG/IgM alkalische fosfatase conjugaat, ontwikkeld in chemiluminiscentie substraat en gevisualiseerd op een (bv. Biomax) film (Wadsworth et al., 2001).

Het vaccin bestaat uit 3 inspuitingen, toegediend op tijd 0, daarna één maand en zes maanden na de eerste inspuiting. Idealiter wordt het gehalte aan antistof ten opzichte van het HBs-antigeen (anti- HBs Ag) 2 maanden na de laatste inspuiting gemeten.

Comme ces plasmocytes sont tous apparentés entre eux, ils ne synthétisent qu’un seul type d’anticorps spécifique.

2° Aantonen van HCV bij een bewezen HCV-antistof positieve patiënt. In deze indicatie kan de bepaling slechts éénmaal worden aangerekend.
2° Confirmation de la présence de HCV chez un patient démontré positif pour des anticorps anti-HCV. Dans cette indication la détection ne peut être portée en compte qu'une seule fois.
