En 2002, la Commission a achevé le travail d'audit commencé l'année précédente en procédant à un deuxième cycle de contrôle des systèmes comptables en place dans les pays bénéficiaires d'ISPA, visant à évaluer la pertinence des systèmes de gestion des fonds ISPA mis sur pied et leur conformité par rapport aux exigences communautaires stipulées dans les dispositions du règlement ISPA et de l'annexe III des protocoles de financement, tels qu'ils sont applicables au titre du régime de contrôle ex ante exercé par la Commission.
In 2002, the Commission completed the audit work started the previous year by carrying out a second cycle of systems audits in the ISPA countries to assess the adequacy of the systems established for management of ISPA funds and their compliance with the Community requirements in accordance with the provisions of the ISPA Regulation and of Annex III of the Financing Memoranda, as applicable under the regime of ex-ante control by the Commission.

Le premier concerne Femmes et villes international. C'est un tout petit groupe de Montréal qui œuvre au Canada et à l'étranger, dans un secteur où le Canada est vraiment le chef de file mondial, à commencer par le METRAC, à Toronto — dont je salue le travail — qui fait des audits de sûreté et de sécurité publique pour les femmes et pour l'ensemble de la population.
The first one is Women in Cities International, which is a very small Montreal-based group that does work both in Canada and internationally, and in an area where Canada has really been a world leader, starting from METRAC in Toronto — and we must highlight them — on the work of safety audits and on the work of public safety for women and for everyone.

Recalls that the Joint Undertaking was set up in February 2007; welcomes the fact that in 2012, the Commission’s Internal Audit Service and the Joint Undertaking’s internal auditing function started to implement the Coordinated Internal Audit Service (IAS) Strategic Audit Plan for the Joint Undertaking for the period 2012-2014; notes that the IAS carried out a programme/project audit and an IT risk assessment while the SESAR IAC examined three calls for tenders and audited the implementation of four internal control standards; expects that the IAS follows the budget expenditure closely, namely the assessment of in-kind contributions and the payments made to the Joint Undertaking’s 15 members on programme activities involving more than 100 private and public entities and subcontractors;

Nous avons commencé cette étude en avril 2010 et, suite à l'audition des témoins et grâce au bon travail des membres du comité, à leurs questions et à leurs observations, nous avons été en mesure de produire un rapport qui, à mon avis, est tout à fait remarquable.
We started this study in April 2010, and through the witnesses and hard work of the members of the committee and all the questions and comments that they had, we were able to produce a report that I think is quite outstanding.

Work programme: introduce a multi-annual plan, whereby all areas of the budget managed by the 29 Directorates-General are appraised over a five-year period; encourages the Court, as external auditor, to make use of work carried out by the Commission's central Internal Audit Service and the internal audit units of each Directorate-General; begin this exercise by auditing higher-risk areas such as external actions, i.e. those under the responsibility of the Enlargement, External Relations, Development, Humanitarian Office, Europe Aid and Trade Directorates-General; present its draft annual work programme to the Committee on Budgetary Control before its adoption; commission an external evaluation on how effectively the Court fulfils its mission;
