Marie Canal National Historic Site of Canada, and from the outflow of the Hydro-electric Power Generation Station, at the city of Sault Ste. Marie, excepting the waters of St. Joseph Island.

In addition, this publication contains an amendment effected by the Protocol amending the Protocol on Transitional Provisions annexed to the Treaty on European Union, to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union and to the Treaty establishing the European Atomic Energy Community and an amendment effected by Regulation (EU, Euratom) No 741/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 August 2012 amending the Protocol on the Statute of the Court of Justice of the European Union and Annex I thereto, as well the amendments effected by European Council Decisions 2010/718/EU and 2012/419/EU of 29 October 2010 and of 11 July 2012 amending respectively the status with regard to the European Union of the island of Saint-Barthélemy and of Mayotte.

(c) the Treaties shall apply to the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man only to the extent necessary to ensure the implementation of the arrangements for those islands set out in the Treaty concerning the accession of new Member States to the European Economic Community and to the European Atomic Energy Community signed on 22 January 1972.

Pour les produits agricoles, auxquels les articles 87, 88 et 89 du traité sont applicables, la Commission peut autoriser, dans les secteurs de la production, de la transformation et de la commercialisation desdits produits des aides au fonctionnement visant à pallier les contraintes de la production agricole spécifiques aux îles mineures, liées à l’éloignement, à l’insularité et à la situation distante de ces îles.

For the agricultural products to which Articles 87, 88 and 89 of the Treaty apply the Commission may authorise operating aid in the sectors producing, processing and marketing those products, with a view to mitigating the specific constraints on farming in the smaller islands as a result of their remoteness, insularity and distant location.

Il convient que des dispositions spécifiques relatives à certaines mesures de développement rural ainsi que des taux de cofinancement appropriés du Feader s'appliquent aux régions ultrapériphériques visées dans le traité et aux îles couvertes par le règlement (CEE) no 2019/93 du Conseil du 19 juillet 1993 portant mesures spécifiques pour certains produits agricoles en faveur des îles mineures de la mer Égée , afin d'atténuer les contraintes particulières et les problèmes structurels que connaissent ces régions et ces îles dans le cadre de leurs activités agricoles et sylvicoles ainsi que lorsqu'il s'agit d'apporter une valeur ajoutée aux produits agricoles et sylvicoles, en raison du caractère périphérique, insulaire ou éloigné ou de la dépendance de l'économie rurale à l'égard d'un nombre limité de produits agricoles, et afin de promouvoir une politique de développement rural solide.
In order to mitigate the specific constraints and structural problems in farming and forestry activities and in adding value to agricultural and forestry products as a result of remoteness, insularity or distant location and of the dependency of the rural economy on a limited number of agricultural products, and to promote a robust rural development policy, specific provisions for certain rural development measures, as well as appropriate co-financing rates from the EAFRD should apply in the outermost regions referred to in the Treaty and the islands covered by Council Regulation (EEC) No 2019/93 of 19 July 1993 introducing specific measures for the smaller Aegean islands concerning certain agricultural products

For the agricultural products covered by Annex I to the Treaty, to which Articles 87, 88 and 89 thereof apply, the Commission may authorise operating aid in the sectors producing, processing and marketing those products, with a view to mitigating the specific constraints on farming in the Canary Islands as a result of their remoteness, insularity and outermost location.
