Stresses the importance of political will in addressing undernutrition; welcomes the Road Map for Scaling-Up Nutrition (SUN) developed by the UN Standing Committee on Nutrition (UNSCN) to accelerate nutrition improvement, particularly in high‑burden countries, with the participation of various stakeholders, including those UN agencies with a mandate in the area of nutrition; calls on the Commission and the Member States to implement the principles outlined in the SUN road map; urges the Commission to encourage and orchestrate participation in the SUN initiative by civil society and grassroots organisations with direct links to small farmers and their families;

Le 10 février 2012, la Commission a reçu notification, conformément à l’article 4 du règlement (CE) no 139/2004 du Conseil (1), d’un projet de concentration par lequel l’entreprise Sun Capital Partners V, L.P («Sun Capital Fund», États-Unis), contrôlée en dernier ressort par Sun Capital Partners, Inc, acquiert indirectement, au sens de l’article 3, paragraphe 1, point b), du règlement CE sur les concentrations, le contrôle exclusif indirect de l’entreprise Elix Polymers S.L («Elix», Espagne), par achat d’actions.
On 10 February 2012, the Commission received a notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 (1) by which Sun Capital Partners V, LP (‘Sun Capital Fund’, USA), ultimately controlled by Sun Capital Partners, Inc, indirectly acquire within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the Merger Regulation indirect sole control over Elix Polymers SL (‘Elix’, Spain), by way of a purchase of shares.

H. considérant que le dialogue inter-congolais s'est achevé le 19 avril 2002 à Sun City (Afrique du Sud) sans qu'il y ait accord politique impliquant toutes les parties, mais considérant que l'accord de Sun City constitue une étape importante pour préparer la transition démocratique du pays et pour résoudre les conflits de manière pacifique; regrettant, cependant, que quelques participants n'aient pas accepté de se joindre à cet accord et invitant toutes les parties congolaises à la responsabilité, au compromis et au respect du cadre établi dans les accords de Lusaka et dans les résolutions pertinentes des Nations Unies,
H. whereas the inter-Congolese dialogue ended on 19 April 2002 in Sun City, South Africa, without a political agreement involving all parties; whereas, however, the Sun City agreement constitutes a major step towards the democratic transition of the country and the peaceful resolution of conflicts; regretting, however, the fact that certain participants have refused to accept the agreement and calling for all sides in the Congo to take a responsible attitude and to respect the framework established by the Lusaka agreements and the United Nations resolutions;
