Reiterates its full support for the work of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in its role of ending the impunity of perpetrators of the most serious crimes of concern to the international community and of providing justice for the victims of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide; remains vigilant regarding any attempts to undermine its legitimacy or independence; recalls its vital role in the dual processes of justice and reconciliation; urges the EU and its Member States to cooperate with the Court and provide it with strong diplomatic and political support in bilateral relations and in all forums, including the UN; expresses its concern that several arrest warrants have still not been executed; calls for the EU, its Member States and EU Special Representatives actively to promote the ICC, the enforcement of its decisions, and the fight against impunity for crimes under the Rome Statute; considers the increasing number of States Parties to be an important development in strengthening the universality of the Court; welcomes the ratification of the Rome Statute by Côte d'Ivoire in February 2013, but considers it regrettable that no state ratified the Statute in 2014; encourages the EU and its Member States to step up their efforts to promote the ratification and implementation of the Rome Statute with a view to widening access to justice for victims of serious crimes under international law; calls on the EU Member States, as States Parties to the Rome Statute of the ICC, to provide it with the resources it needs to exercise its mandate fairly and effectively; encourages the EU to continue to provide assistance to international criminal justice and the ICC, including by supporting civil society actors through the EIDHR;

In accordance with Article 208, Article 209(3) and Article 212 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and under the terms laid down in the Statute of the European Investment Bank (EIB) and in Decision No 1080/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council (12), the EIB contributes to the implementation of the measures necessary to further the objectives of the Union's development and other external policies, and intervenes in complementarity with the Union's instruments for external action.

7. Les parties réaffirment que le droit, pour les coproductions, de bénéficier de leurs régimes respectifs de promotion du contenu culturel régional ou local visés aux paragraphes 4 et 5 est destiné à générer des avantages réciproques et que les coproductions répondant aux critères énoncés au paragraphe 6 obtiennent le statut d'œuvres européennes ou coréennes au sens des paragraphes 4 et 5, selon le cas, sans que des conditions autres que celles énoncées au paragraphe 6 soient fixées.
7. The Parties reaffirm that the entitlement for co-productions to benefit from their respective schemes for the promotion of local/regional cultural content referred to in paragraphs 4 and 5 ensures reciprocal benefits, and that the co-productions fulfilling the criteria of paragraph 6 are awarded the status of European/Korean works referred to in paragraphs 4 and 5 respectively without any conditions additional to those of paragraph 6.

Although regulations adopted by the ECB under Article 34.1 of the Statute of the European System of Central Banks and of the European Central Bank (hereinafter the ‘Statute of the ESCB’) do not confer any rights or impose any obligations on Member States whose currency is not the euro (hereinafter the ‘non-euro area Member States’), Article 5 of the Statute of the ESCB applies to both euro and non-euro area Member States. Recital 17 to Regulation (EC) No 2533/98 refers to the fact that Article 5 of the Statute of the ESCB, together with Article 4(3) of the Treaty on European Union, implies an obligation to design and implement at national level all the measures that the non-euro area Member States consider appropriate to collect the statistical information needed to fulfil the ECB’s statistical reporting requirements and make timely preparations in the field of statistics in order to become euro area Member States.

Encourages the Member States to use the existing momentum to work for the swift introduction of the Statute on a comprehensive basis, with all guarantees of transparency, so that barriers to foundations’ cross-border work can be dismantled, and new foundations can be set up to meet the needs of the people living in the EU or to work in the public good or further the interests of society; stresses that establishing the Statute would contribute to the implementation of genuine EU citizenship and pave the way for a statute for a European organisation;

Points out that 2011 was the second full year in which the new Statute for Members and the Statute for Assistants has been in force (both effective as of 14 July 2009); notes that the Implementing Measures for the Statute for Assistants have been amended four times in those two years for the application of Title VII of the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of the European Communities (CEOS) and the Implementing Measures on the basis of proposals from the Temporary Evaluation Group and the Secretary-General; recalls that the implementation of Title VII of the CEOS created a single scheme governing the status of accredited parliamentary assistants (APAs) working in Parliament's three working places, which replaced twenty-seven different national systems of contractual relationships, taxation and social security and that currently there is no evidence that would suggest a need to adapt the rules applying to parliamentary assistants contained in Title VII of the CEOS; suggest a full evaluation of the Statute of Assistants including possible adaptations of the rules before the next European elections;
