The subject is one that the European institutions dealt with not very long ago in Regulation (EC) No 1060/2009 and the later Regulation (EC) No 513/2011, an amending act connected with the reform of financial supervision and intended in particular to confer specific powers and responsibilities on the newly established supervisory authority (ESMA).
