Le texte de l’analyse d’impact explique mieux le contenu des options, notamment celle qui concerne l’instrument de renflouement interne/dépréciation des créances.
Concretely, the revised IA improves the presentation of the legal and institutional context by describing the responsibilities of national supervisors and resolution authorities and the relationships between the proposal for bail-in and the planned CRD IV requirements. The text of the IA better explains the content of options, in particular the one related to the bail-in/debt-write down tool.

I would like to highlight the JPA’s concern at the repercussions of the current financial crisis, the adoption in Luanda of a resolution on the impact of the financial crisis on the ACP states, and the resolutions on its impact and on addressing the crisis in the ACP states.

The impact assessment discusses the three main issues identified as problems in the Commission's report on Regulation 2560/2001 from February 2008. These are: the necessity of extending the scope of the Regulation to direct debits, balance-of-payments (BoP) statistical reporting requirements imposed on cross-border transactions and the absence of competent authorities and out-of-court redress bodies for Regulation-related issues, including consumer complaints.

Quant aux préoccupations exprimées dans les paragraphes 10 à 14 de la résolution concernant l'impact potentiel des poissons génétiquement modifiés et des mollusques polyploïdes, j'ai le plaisir d'informer le Parlement que la Commission a récemment finalisé la procédure de sélection en vue d'une étude sur le génie génétique appliqué à l'aquaculture, qui inclura ces aspects.
I shall deal next with the concerns expressed in Paragraphs 10 to 14 of the resolution. These relate to the possible impact of genetically modified fish and poliploid molluscs. I am pleased to inform the House that the Commission has recently concluded the selection process for a study on genetic engineering in aquaculture.
