Pendant la période 1994-1999, la Commission a réparti les ressources disponibles du FEDER au titre des actions innovatrices (moins de 1 % du budget des fonds structurels) entre huit thèmes : nouveaux gisements d'emplois (NGEs), culture et patrimoine, aménagement du territoire (TERRA), projets pilotes urbains (PPU), coopération interrégionale interne (RECITE II), coopération interrégionale externe (ECOS-Ouverture), promotion de l'innovation technologique (RIS et RTTs) et société de l'information (RISI I et II).

In 1994-99, the Commission distributed the ERDF resources available for innovative actions (less than 1% of the Structural Fund budget) among eight themes: new sources of employment, culture and heritage, spatial planning (Terra), urban pilot projects (UPPs), internal interregional co-operation (Recite II), external interregional co-operation (Ecos-Ouverture), promotion of technological innovation (RIS and RTTs) and the information society (RISI I and II).

Strongly condemns the unacceptable forced disappearances and crimes in Iguala and calls on the Mexican authorities to investigate all the crimes, including the finding of 28 bodies in clandestine graves; calls on the relevant authorities to take all necessary steps to act promptly and in a transparent and impartial manner to identify, arrest and bring to justice the perpetrators of the crimes, and calls for those responsible to be identified and prosecuted, using all available information and resources internally and externally and with no margin for impunity; calls for the investigations to be continued until the students have been brought to safety;

2. EATRIS ERIC shall provide guidance for users of EATRIS infrastructure to best ensure that research which has been undertaken using the resources of the EATRIS infrastructure recognises and respects compliance with any property, personal privacy, ethical and data owner’s protection rights as well as secrecy and confidentiality obligations as defined in Rules of Procedure, further ensuring that users comply with access terms and conditions, security arrangements for the internal storage and handling of (bio) materials and handling of information of research institutions participating in EATRIS infrastructure.

Acknowledges that the Commission's Internal Audit Service (IAS) performed a Human Resources Management audit in 2008 and a follow-up Implementation of Internal Control Standards audit in 2007; stresses that the Agency informed the discharge authority of a new recommendation of the IAS arising after the follow-up engagement of 2009 which calls for a review of the Internal Control Standards adopted by the Management Board on 10 October 2007;

44. Intends to follow up closely, within its own section of the budget, the issues related, inter alia, to the agreed hearing on internal information resources (use and resources spent) and including 'knowledge management', as well as on all relevant issues concerning the House of European History, including the issues of possible co-funding and cooperation on this project; recalls the agreement reached at its internal budget conciliation meeting in this connection;

The audit committee's responsibilities will be to make sure that public authorities' concerns and users' interests are properly addressed on the following issues: (a) internal organisation and the overall adequacy of human and technological resources; (b) accounting; (c) information system reliability; and (d) risk-management policies.

(7) La politique poursuivie par la Communauté dans le domaine de la science, de la technologie et de l'innovation attache une importance toute particulière au renforcement des bases scientifiques et technologiques des entreprises européennes, afin de rendre celles-ci plus innovatrices et plus concurrentielles aux niveaux international et régional, à l'exploitation des avantages offerts par la société de l'information, à la promotion du transfert de technologie, à l'amélioration des activités dans le domaine des droits de propriété intellectuelle, au développement de la mobilité des ressources humaines, ainsi qu'à la promotion de l'égalité entre hommes et femmes dans le domaine scientifique.
(7) Community policy on science, technology and innovation attaches particular importance to strengthening the scientific and technological basis of European businesses so as to enable them to be more innovative and competitive on the international and regional level, realising the benefits of the information society and promoting the transfer of technology, improving activities in the domain of intellectual property rights and the development of mobility of human resources, and promoting equality between men and women in science.
