TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

L’expérience acquise par le passé montre que dans le contexte de l’accord de libre-échange entre l’Union européenne et la Corée, une meilleure coordination entre les activités du GCI de l’Union européenne et des institutions européennes, ainsi qu’entre ces activités et celles d’autres organisations internationales, telles que l’organisation internationale du travail (OIT) et l’Organisation de coopération et de développement économiques (OCDE), a permis de renforcer considérablement la cohérence et la qualité du dialogue entre l’Union européenne et la Corée. Le CESE recommande d’utiliser, au cours de la période à venir, les méthodes de travail élaborées grâce à cette coopération interinstitutionnelle, notamment en mettant en place de nouveaux partenariats dans le cadre d’activités et de projets pertinents.
Past experience has shown that, in the context of the EU-Korea FTA, the consistency and quality of the dialogue between the EU and Korea have been significantly improved thanks to better coordination of the activities of the EU DAG and the EU institutions, as well as coordination between them and other international organisations such as the ILO and the OECD. The EESC recommends that the working methods developed through this inter-institutional cooperation be used in the next period, including by developing new partnerships for relevant activities and projects.

L’Union et les PTOM promeuvent la convergence réglementaire avec les normes internationales reconnues en matière de régulation et de surveillance dans le domaine des services financiers, notamment: les «Principes fondamentaux pour un contrôle bancaire efficace» établis par le Comité de Bâle, les «Principes de base en matière d’assurance» de l’Association internationale des contrôleurs d’assurance, les «Objectifs et principes de la régulation financière» définis par l’Organisation internationale des commissions de valeurs, l’«Accord d’échange de renseignements fiscaux» de l’OCDE, la «Déclaration du G20 sur la transparence et l’échange d’information à des fins fiscales», les «Caractéristiques essentielles de systèmes performants de résolution pour les établissements financiers» approuvées par le Conseil de stabilité financière, ainsi que les «Normes internationales sur la lutte contre le blanchiment de capitaux et le financement du terrorisme et de la prolifération» du groupe d’action financière (recommandations du GAFI).
The Union and the OCTs shall promote regulatory convergence with recognised international standards on regulation and supervision in the area of financial services including: the Basel Committee’s ‘Core Principle for Effective Banking Supervision’, the International Association of Insurance Supervisors’ ‘Insurance Core Principles’, the International Organisation of Securities Commissions’ ‘Objectives and Principles of Securities Regulation’, the OECD’s ‘Agreement on exchange of information on tax matters’, the G20 ‘Statement on Transparency and exchange of information for tax purposes’, the Financial Stability Board’s ‘Key Attributes of Effective Resolution Regimes for Financial Institutions’ and the Financial Action Task Force’s ‘International Standards on Combating Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism and Proliferation — the FATF Recommendations’.

In accordance with Art 17(2) of the Framework Directive, in the absence of standards and/or specifications in this list, Member States must encourage the implementation of standards and/or specifications adopted by European standards organisations and, in the absence of such standards and/or specifications, encourage the implementation of international standards or recommendations adopted by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) or the International Electro technical Commission (IEC).

La directive se fonde sur la recommandation de 1990 de la Commission internationale pour la protection contre les radiations (CIPR) et est compatible avec les normes fondamentales internationales de protection contre les rayonnements ionisants et de sûreté des sources de rayonnement qui sont soutenues et publiées par l'Agence internationale de l'énergie atomique et soutenues conjointement par cinq autres organisations internationales compétentes en matière de radioprotection.
The Directive is based on the 1990 Recommendation of the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) and is consistent with the International Basic Safety Standards for Protection against Ionising Radiation and for the Safety of Radiation Sources sponsored and issued by the International Atomic Energy Agency and jointly sponsored by other five International Organisations with competence in radiation protection.
