(4) Where the Agency recommends a charge that is lower than that prescribed by the Authority, the Authority shall reimburse to any person who has paid the prescribed charge the difference between it and the recommended charge, with interest at the rate quoted by banks to the most credit-worthy borrowers for prime business loans, as determined by the Bank of Canada for the day on which the Agency recommends the lower charge.

11. Si l’Office constate, lors de l’étude d’une demande d’indemnité présentée par un importateur admissible ou par toute personne que le Ministre considère comme un importateur admissible sur recommandation de l’Office, que l’application stricte du présent règlement imposera à cet importateur de graves difficultés financières, l’Office peut recommander au Ministre de verser une indemnité spéciale à cet importateur pour éliminer en tout ou en partie ces difficultés et le Ministre peut ordonner à l’Office d’effectuer un tel paiement.

If, on consideration of an application for payment presented by an eligible importer or by any person whom the Minister on the recommendation of the Board may deem to be an eligible importer, it appears to the Board that the strict application of these Regulations will in the circumstances result in an undue financial hardship to that importer, the Board may recommend to the Minister that a special payment be made to that importer towards relief of all or part of that hardship and the Minister may direct the Board to make such payment.

67.6 Upon completion of an investigation the Passenger's Ombudsperson shall report his or her opinion, and the reasons therefor, to the person affected, the member of Parliament, the Agency or the licensee, as the case may be, and make any recommendation that the Ombudsperson thinks fit, including a recommendation: (a) that the omission be rectified; (b) that a decision or recommendation be cancelled or varied; (c) that any practice on which the decision, recommendation, act or omission was based should be altered; (d) that any law on which the decision, recommendation, act or omission was based should be reconsidered; (e) that reasons should be given for the decision or recommendation, or (f) that any other steps, including the payment of money to the affected person, be taken.
