Aux fins du présent chapitre, on entend par "indication géographique" une indication faisant référence à une région, un lieu spécifique ou un pays, utilisée pour désigner un produit vinicole aromatisé dans les cas où le produit vinicole provient de l'Union et qu'une qualité, réputation ou d'autres caractéristiques de ce produit peuvent être attribuées essentiellement à cette origine géographique.
For the purposes of this Chapter, "geographical indication" means an indication referring to a region, a specific place or a country, used to describe an aromatised wine product where the wine product comes from the Union and where a given quality, reputation or other characteristics of that wine product is essentially attributable to its geographical origin.
