Welcomes the first High-Level Meeting on Ukraine held in Brussels on 8 July 2014 with the participation of the EU and its Member States, Ukraine, other donor countries, international organisations, international financial institutions and civil society, aimed at coordinating international support for the country; stresses the importance of a commitment by the international community to support economic and political stabilisation and reform in Ukraine, notably in the framework of Ukraine’s political association and economic integration with the EU, together with a credible emergency plan for reconstruction and development in the regions affected by the conflict and humanitarian assistance for refugees and displaced people;

Lorsqu'un acte doit être adopté par le Conseil à la majorité qualifiée, 65 % de la population de l'Union ou, lorsque tous les États membres ne participent pas au vote, de la population des États membres y participant, ainsi que le nombre minimal de membres du Conseil représentant plus de 35 % de la population des États membres participant au vote, sont calculés conformément aux chiffres de population figurant à l'annexe III. Where a decision is to be adopted by the Council acting by qualified majority, 65 % of the population of the Union or, where not all Member States participate in voting, of the population of the participating Member States, and the minimum number of Council members representing more than 35 % of the population of the participating Member States shall be calculated in accordance with the population figures set out in Annex III. These figures shall also apply between 1 November 2014 and 31 March 2017 where, in accordance with Article 3(2) of Protocol No 36 on transitional measures, annexed to the Treaty on European Union, to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union and to the Treaty establishing the European Atomic Energy Community, a member of the Council requests that an act be adopted in accordance with the qualified majority as defined in paragraph 3 of that Article and a member of the Council requests that it be verified that the Member States comprising the qualified majority represent at least 62 % of the total population of the Union’.

Un premier versement de 950 000,00 EUR au titre de la participation financière de l’Union a été prévu dans la décision 2008/444/CE, un second versement de 1 950 000,00 EUR ayant été prévu au titre de cette participation dans la décision d’exécution 2011/800/UE de la Commission du 30 novembre 2011 relative à une participation financière de l’Union aux interventions d’urgence contre la maladie de la fièvre catarrhale du mouton en Allemagne en 2007 (5).
Decision 2008/444/EC provided that a first tranche of EUR 950 000,00 should be paid as part of the Union financial contribution and Commission Implementing Decision 2011/800/EU of 30 November 2011 on a financial contribution from the Union towards emergency measures to combat bluetongue in Germany in 2007 (5) provided that a second tranche of EUR 1 950 000,00 should be paid as part of the Union financial contribution.

Now we see the real objectives of the criminal war by ΝΑΤΟ against Yugoslavia, participated in by the EU and the governments of its Member States, both centre left and centre right, including the PASOK government in power in Greece at the time, a policy continued today with the same consistency by the New Democracy government, confirming the adherence of both parties in the two-party state to participation in and support for the criminal imperialist plans of the EU and ΝΑΤΟ and the USA in the area and in the world as a whole.
