J'aimerais remercier toutes les personnes qui y ont participé, et plus particulièrement les rapporteurs fictifs, Messieurs El Khadraoui, Rack, Zîle, etc., ainsi que le président du comité de conciliation, M. Vidal-Quadras Roca, qui, je crois, a excellemment conduit les négociations, et, bien entendu, la présidence allemande, comme M. Savary l'a déjà dit; je crois que M. Tiefensee et son équipe y ont consacré beaucoup d'efforts et qu'ils ont été des plus persuasifs au Conseil; merci aussi aux membres de la Commission, aux commissaires et à leurs services qui nous ont aussi été d'une grande aide.
I should like to thank all those involved, more especially the shadow rapporteurs, Messrs El Khadraoui, Rack, Zîle, and others, together with the Chairman of the Conciliation Committee, Mr Vidal-Quadras Roca, who in my view conducted the negotiations most skilfully, and of course the German Presidency too, as Mr Savary already said; I think Mr Tiefensee and his people put in a lot of hard work on this and were most persuasive in the Council; thanks are also due to the Commission people, the Commissioners and their departments, because I think we had a lot of help from that quarter too.
