En ce qui concerne les autres aspects de la feuille de route vers une véritable Union économique et monétaire, j'ai indiqué ce matin aux membres du Conseil européen où nous en sommes arrivés, à la suite des nombreuses consultations qui ont eu lieu, et nous nous sommes mis d'accord sur la suite des travaux.
On the other aspects of the roadmap towards a genuine Economic and Monetary Union, this morning I updated colleagues on the state of play, following broad consultations, and we agreed the way forward.

This morning the Finance Ministers agreed on a Single Supervisory Mechanism for banks, and a decision was taken on Greece in the Eurogroup.

As regards the resumption of negotiations on the partnership, I would say that the negotiation of the future agreement has been postponed, not suspended, for the legal reasons also referred to during this morning’s debate, and, as the European Council said on 15 October, the continuation of these negotiations will incorporate the assessment that the Commission and the Council have been asked to carry out.
