With reference to the report on the activities of the Cohesion Fund during the first year of the programming period 2000-2006, your rapporteur wishes to highlight the general dissatisfaction felt by the Commission with regard to the quality of ex ante evaluation and wants to know what training measures the Commission intends to introduce to ensure that the criteria used by the different Member States for ex ante evaluation are uniform and significant in terms of quality.
